Forum Malta fl-Ewropa and the National Contact Point for the EU’s Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) will be organising a Conference on EU funding opportunities in the field of energy, environment and eco-innovation. The main speaker will be Dr Theodoros Staikos from the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (EACI). In his presentations, Dr Staikos will cover the calls for proposal which are currently open under two of the main operational pillars of CIP, namely the Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) and Eco-Innovation programmes, and provide guidance on the application process. Other speakers will address the relevant national policy context, provide first-hand experience on EU projects in the field and give information on complementary sources of funding related to energy and environment, in particular FP7 and the Structural Funds.
Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required in view of seating restrictions. Registrations should reach Brian Pace at Forum Malta fl-Ewropa by no later than noon of 8th May or email forumfunding@gov.mt.
