Dr. Ryan Gregory from the Dept. of Integrative Biology at the University of Guelph returns for the 2nd in our series of fireside chats on evolution. This seminar will place the evolutionary ideas of Darwin in a historical context by reviewing thoughts about evolutionary change (or lack thereof) extending back several thousand years, & by considering Darwin’s life & influences in detail from his youth to the publication of Origin of Species.
