In early 2009, Alan Morgan travelled to central Ecuador, visiting three birding lodge areas and moving from the volcanic highlands down into the upper reaches of the Amazon Basin on the Napo River. This illustrated talk shows some of the geological features and biological organisms encountered on this traverse.
