Join father and son team, Ken and Kevin Dance, to learn about hawks and owls. Kevin will present an illustrated talk on his graduate degree research on hawks and eagles moving through wind farms. Kevin has studied raptors and wind farms in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. Ken will use his collection of taxidermied hawks and owls to talk about the ecology of raptors and man. He’ll also tell a story about his recent trip to Scotland to view Sea Eagles and Golden Eagles. There will be time for audience members to share their experiences with raptors. Bring the whole family! This is an indoor presentation with a maximum of 30 seats. Please register by January 21st.
