The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been established by WMO and UNEP to assess scientific, technical and socio- economic information relevant for the understanding of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.
The focus of this meeting will be on:- acceptance of the actions by the sessions of IPCC Working Groups I, II and III
- review of the IPCC terms of reference
- future work on emissions scenarios
- future work programme of the Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories
