This year’s theme reflects the need for business to make conscious decisions about how to shape a sustainable future. This question has numerous dimensions. What are the challenges of creating a sustainable future? How do we successfully meet the challenges of sustainable energy, sustainable consumption, and sustainable food and nutrition? How do we design relationships between business, civil society and the public sector that support the development of a sustainable future? How do we design sustainable products, services and business processes that maximize the opportunities presented by these global challenges?
The 2007 BSR Conference will highlight ways to translate these challenges into actionable ideas that deliver value to society, the environment and shareholders. With a rich agenda bringing together a diverse mix of speakers and participants, the Conference will highlight opportunities for immediate progress and an understanding of what’s over the horizon.
