This workshop will cover system sizing, site analysis, installations and safety issues, and hardware specification. Learn about the different commercially available residential wind turbines, how they work, and the advantages and disadvantages of each. Get hands on experience with ten wind generators, and designing a wind/PV hybrid system. The second week of this workshop involves installing a residential wind turbine and tower for a homeowner somewhere in Colorado.
