The Fair will attract people from the local community and across the city with its exciting array of performances and fun activities for all ages. The Fair will feature an interactive “journey into climate change”, Aboriginal drummers, a speakers corner booth, as well as environmental booths and the “Your Air Pollution Solution” Essay Award Ceremony. This event is a lead up to the 2007 Smog Summit, which will be held at Toronto City Hall on June 7.
The Fresh Air Fair engages children, youth and families in activities that raise awareness of the importance of clean air. It actively demonstrates how working together can lead to action and positive change for the sake of our environment and health. The Fair’s activities promote active lifestyle choices and the benefits of improving local air quality.
