The CENT-A-METER ™ is an electronic device which measures domestic electricity use and displays the cost per hour on a portable display located inside the home or small business.
This product provides an easy to read and inexpensive monitor that will educate and train people about the amount of electricity used by electrical appliances and the cost in monetary and environmental terms.
Additional features include display of power consumption and equivalent greenhouse gas generated, together with in-door ambient temperature and humidity.
The CENT-A-METER ™ comprises a sensor, wireless transmitter and receiver. The sensor is a clip-on current transformer that samples the electric current on each active phase wire inside the switchboard.
